I have been a full-time graphic designer since graduating from Watkins College of Art&Design in 2005. I decided to specialize in wedding invitations after my own wedding.
After dating my husband, Shaun, for about 5 years (with a year breakup thrown in the mix), we married on January 3, 2009 and currently reside in Franklin, Tennessee. We thought we'd add to the family, first, by adopting a Maltipoo or two but, instead, we will be welcoming our first child—a boy—into the world this April! Not a bad tradeoff. :)
Ever since my wedding, I've become a huge wedding enthusiast. I just can't get enough of weddings, wedding blogs and bridal blogs. If ever my enthusiasm wanes, my creative energy is maintained through many other creative interests: catering, baking/cooking, interior design, spending time with my 2 little nieces, abstract painting and, most recently, DIY-ing (although I'm somewhat limited in my pregnant state) and gathering ideas & inspiration for our baby's room.
A few of my favorite things: walking marathons, mexican food (chips, salsa & queso, anyday!), Blue Bell's mint chocolate chip ice cream, homemade pizza, Project Runway, the color orange and my ever-growing collection of food, home and style magazines.
